New PhD student in the LION group
Michael Bachhammer started his PhD in August 2022 to work on stabilising and optimising the laser-driven ion acceleration at CALA. The work is supported via the BMBF (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) within project 01IS24028. Michael obtained his bachelor's and master's degree at LMU and already conducted his master's thesis in this group.
